The reservation encompasses areas in both Arizona (225,995 acres) and California (42,696 acres) with the Colorado River providing 90 miles of shoreline through the reservation.
Parker Arizona is located on, and surrounded by reservation land. The Colorado River is the basis for an established tourism and recreation industry.
Tribal history is evidenced by petroglyphs, pictographs, ancient trails, and intaglios in the area. The Tribal Museum preserves and interprets the heritage of the four tribes (Mohave, Chemehuevi, Hopi, & Navajo) occupying the area.
Blue Water Casino is located on the reservation.
