Most campgrounds and camping in Arizona is on public land - meaning little or no fees. Although many campgrounds have fresh water available, always carry fresh water while traveling in desert or wilderness areas.

Enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, photography and other outdoor recreation while visiting Arizona campgrounds and please, do your part to protect and preserve camping areas for future visitors.

    Camp Rucker

    One of three campgrounds located within casting distance of great trout fishing. Camp Rucker has 9 camp sites, and is open year round. Fee charged. RV's limited to 16'.

    Catalina State Park

    Beautiful area, 2650 ft. elevation makes for perfect temperatures, even in summer. There is a main water supply, restroom facilities and a dump station. Fee charged.

    Cochise Stronghold

    Cypress Park

    This nicely shaded campground is located in Rucker Canyon, West side of the Chiricahua range. There is drinking water and restroom facilities. Fee charged. Open March through October.

    Rucker Forest Camp
