FOUNDERS MESSAGE

The PourAway patented liquid diversion system is a seamless solution which allows individuals the ability to separate liquids from solids/recyclables when disposing of waste. We have been in business for 8 years as a family owned and operated business. Our corporate offices and warehousing is located in Auburn California. All our products are made in the USA. We currently have 6 popular patented products to accommodate any level of liquid waste for a multi waste stream solution. Our proprietary MICROBIAL Enzyme cleaning products are wonderfully successful in maintaining the product line. By adding PourAway to an existing infrastructure or collaborating with us to provide a custom solution you will address three main issues. These issues are reduction of heavy liquid waste will reduce waste disposal costs, improve worker safety & efficiency and last but certainly not least help protect the environment and satisfy related EPA /state regulations. Saving green and being green benefits us all. Remember recycling is just a PourAway.

My greatest passion has been working with schools

Schools have been mandated to create zero waste programs. When PourAway first launched I introduced the concept to undergrads in the UC system sustainability programs, now these students are in the work force and implementing PourAway into programs all over. Over the pandemic I got a chance to work one on one with Alisal Union School District sustainability team in Salinas California for the collection of large amounts liquids. Like most schools all that liquid was going in the trash or a bucket. Now the PourAway Cadet is usually first in line for a multi stream recycling program. Everyone loves some place to pour out their liquid. Then they start thinking where does this plastic bag go? This plate? Napkin? Now we're thinking of recycling. Liquid diversion is a great recycling gateway because no one throws liquid or ice in the trash at home.

•    Did you know 1 gallon of liquid is about 8 pounds? A 5-gallon Home Depot bucket is 40 pounds!
•    When children learn to recycle early, they create a better future for the planet.
•    If liquid is poured down a drain, instead of the trash, it will get a free ride to a water treatment plant and return to         the local water table. Water positive!
•    Liquid in trash is the main cause of greenhouse gases in landfills.
•    Children will bring recycling skills learned at school home.
•    Let's bring critical thinking to everything we throw away.
•    Currently we have placed well over 1000 units in education across the US & Canada and are in over 350 schools          and universities.

I think most people see us in the airports now because we are in front of TSA to dispose of liquids.

I worked with Oakland Airport management and custodians to develop the Cadet for nearly a year till everyone was happy. The Cadet can hold up to 30 gallons of liquid waste and empty it in less than 3 minutes. It's great that they are mobile so they can be placed where needed. Some airports asked for signs to tell people what the Cadet was for. But most of the time people were ready to use them as soon as they were placed on the floor. Acceptance was instantaneous. People say things like "I love this! I hate throwing liquid in the trash." The Cadet is the ultimate in quality and durability for those extremely high liquid demand environments, indoors and outside, such a great easy solution.

•    Las Vegas Airport (Harry Reed International Airport) diverts 5,200 gallons of liquid waste with their PourAway               every week.

•    We are in over 50 major airports.
•    Have you seen our bright yellow Cadets in all the Hawaiian Islands? Mahalo
•    Favorite quote heard in an airport "Where have you been all my life?"
